It was great to get back on the water with my family. I enjoyed spending time with my son and his wife on Saturday, and Sunday was fun with my wife and daughter. It was also great to sit down to a nice meal at Gus' Restaurant in Texas City with the whole family on Saturday night. Even had a chance for everyone to enjoy some Rudy's bbq on Sunday afternoon before we headed out of Houston.
We landed 4 redfish that went from about 12 to 20 pounds and 6 black drum ranging from about 6 to 50 pounds. Also caught flounder, croaker, sand trout, hardhead catfish and two large gafftop catfish. The fishing was good and the company on the boat was great. Looking forward to doing it again.
