It was great to get back out on the water again after missing several months.  I hosted my son and daughter-in-law the first day and my daughter and future son-in-law on day two.  We landed two large Black Drum the first day and seven large Black Drum and a nice Red Fish the second day.  The Black Drum ranged from about 18 to 37 pounds and the Red Fish was about 20 pounds.  We also caught sand trout, sheepshead and a few sting rays.

The second day started out nice, but the fog rolled in thick around 2:00 PM and we had to leave our really good fishing spot and tried with no luck closer to the launch site.  Better to be safe than sorry.

October 14 & 15, 2017

Fun time fishing in Galveston with my daughter.  She landed 6 big redfish and caught 44 fish our second day on the water.  Always fun to be on the water and even more fun to enjoy it with my daughter.  She is a tough fisher girl and always pushes me for "one more cast".
